So Miss Essie wants to know what we procrastinate? It might be faster to say what I don't procrastinate but what comes to mind at the top of the procrastination list is cleaning my own room. I hate house work period but I also hate living in dirt so I have to get it done. With 7 people here in this house and several pets house work is a revolving door that needs continuous tending to.
But my own abode my sanctuary my love nest ... is a pit, and I don't mean Brad. A shameful health hazard pit of disgust. I am doing good to keep the sheets changed and the toilet clean and let's be honest here sometimes the toilet is a little too gas station. If I think I need to put down the ring o paper then I know it is past time to take care of that house duty.
The thing is that there is just not enough time in the day in the week in the month.
A week ago Mr. wanted to show Mr. Behavior Guy something on the computer in my room. I was fully willing to embrace the impending meltdown because there was no way in this life time that the Behavior Dude was going to see the pit that is my sleep chamber. That really should have inspired me to get to work on the room and be willing to let Mr. Behavior Dude come see the whatever it was on the computer the following week. Fortunate for me that the computer got a virus and crashed so I scratched that worry off my list.
I also procrastinate making appointments. I am equally bad at canceling appointments. There are just so many that need to be made and attended. 4 kids, me and a husband to make dentist, doctor, school and so forth appointments for. I am going to plead overwhelmed in this case.
Oh well recognizing that there is a problem is the first step to recovery, right? Now if I can just locate step 2 we might make some progress!

LOL, willing to endure a meltdown and being grateful for a computer virus now that's a room!
Congratulations on procrastinating your post!
Okay, here is step 2...4 bins...1. Sell, 2. Give Away, 3. Throw Away, 4. Keep. Fill them and Do what it says on the side. You're on your way! Find a way to keep your love nest neat and clean. It will definitely help you keep your sanity. There's contentment and serenity in a clean and neat environment. Where there's chaos, it causes more chaos. Believe me, I've learned this from experience. I wish I were there. I'd help you. But, alas, I have my own haven to unclutter...my office/sewing room. I'm working on bringing it together, as I write. I have a plan. I will follow through. It will be my haven SOON. :)
Thanks for the tips, organizing is something I love to do but it's the finding the time that is tricky. You are so right though that getting my room together can only benefit me.
Don't worry though it isn't really a gas station bathroom, I clean it before it gets to that point! lol
Let me know if you find the secret to time? I'm always looking for it too but have the same problem. There is never enough of it. Oh and hey, I procrastinated my response posting. (sigh) and I was trying to do so good this week.
This was too cute. I love image of a bathroom that is "a little too gas station".
I also was wondering WHICH of the umpteen-zillion things I procrastinate about should be the topic of my post....
