How completely AWESOME! What a life/parenting lesson this teaches. This is something I struggle with daily. I try so hard (I think to a certain extent, unknowingly) to turn her into me. The things that I liked, the things that I succeeded in, push her in my favorite subjects... This is a fabulous reality check!
I know, I can't watch this and not cry ... when Patrick begins walking because of all the PT he received because of the surfing dogs fund raiser money, sniff sniff I have to go get the tissues!
Good point Sanity. It is hard as parents sometimes to accept our children's differences, especially the ones we don't "get".
