So our clinician at the university called to reschedule our testing appointment for tomorrow because she had not obtained the information from Dr. Psychiatrist or Mr. CBA and her supervisor wants her to have that information for a more clear picture before she proceeds forward.
I guess that is good and them being thorough which is what we expected from the university but for some reason it kind of has me freaked out. Did my story of my kid freak them out? Do they suspect that I'm nuts? I mean I whole heartily embrace the fact that we are all a little "different" over here in loo loo land but that's not Miss M's problem. And this testing is specifically for academics and possible learning disabilities.
Any thoughts out there? Help a stressing Mama please!

I think they are just being careful. Some psychiatric disorders and some psychotropic drugs can interfere with testing. Don't freak- just get on the shrink so they get the records. {{{Hugs}}}
I think they want the whole picture and not just from the mama, don't worry, it is not you.
They are looking at the whole package (school, home, meds, dr etc, etc). Kids are different in each setting for diferent reasons - so it sounds like they are being thorough.
Probably someone double scheduled, or wants to go play golf or something. Maybe its a paperwork thing. Could be anything. But probably not you!
It's not about you darlin. Promise. You might have actually gotten a team that is uber thorough so I think you need to count yourself very lucky. Maybe they're actually going to give you some answers. :)
They need all of the previous info so they know what actual tests to administer (there are a ton of tests they can do in a psych-ed).
I love your new main photo - it's really cute!
Okay, I think you need some time off. Don't take this personally...be happy that they want to have ALL the info. That's a good thing. Oh, and TAKE some time for yourself. You need that once in awhile. :)
